Eddy Poinern

Dr Gerard Eddy Poinern is a Consultant with SAS.

Dr Poinern is well known in the field of nanotechnology. He brings to SAS a unique blend of expertise in XPS/AES analysis, nanotechnology and business development, as well as an impressive track record of scientific success, even working alongside Fiona Wood on the improvement of spray-on-skin technology, which reduces scarring of burns victims.

Dr Poinern is also a Murdoch University Program Chair in Nanoscience, Research Project Leader in Nanoscience/Nanotechnology and Lecturer, and a member of the Australian Institute of Physics, American Chemical Society and Knowledge Commercialisation Australasia.

Dr Poinern plays an essential role at SAS by combining his scientific expertise, business acumen and teaching excellence to ensure SAS provides a comprehensive set of surface analysis services.
